Look Health Terms of Service

Effective: October 20, 2025

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Look Health’s web application, laboratory services, and optional AI-generated summaries. By creating an account or accessing Look Health, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old or have legal authority to act on behalf of a minor or dependent to use our services.
You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information, safeguarding your login credentials, and notifying us of unauthorized access.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable laws.

2. Services

We partner with accredited laboratories to process biomarker kits and deliver digital results.
We may offer optional video consultations between members and consultants. Consultants may use supported third-party video platforms (such as Google Meet or Zoom). Use of those platforms is subject to the third party’s terms and privacy policies.
AI summaries are informational. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and do not replace consultation with qualified healthcare professionals.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

3. Consent for AI Summaries

AI summaries are optional. When you enable the feature, you grant Look Health permission to process de-identified biomarker data using OpenAI infrastructure. You may withdraw consent at any time; we will delete cached summaries and stop new processing until you opt in again.

4. Member Responsibilities

Use Look Health for personal wellness purposes and comply with all applicable laws.
Do not misuse the service (e.g., attempt to reverse engineer, bypass security, or upload malicious code).
Consult healthcare professionals before making medical decisions based on Look Health content.

5. Fees & Billing

Kits, subscriptions, and AI services may carry fees. Prices are displayed at the time of purchase. Unless stated otherwise, charges are non-refundable once processing begins. Taxes may apply based on your jurisdiction.

6. Intellectual Property

Look Health retains all rights to platform content, branding, software, and documentation. You may only use the service as permitted in these Terms. All feedback you provide may be used by Look Health to improve the service without obligation.

7. Privacy

Your use of Look Health is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information.

8. Disclaimers

Look Health is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or error-free AI outputs. Summaries reflect current biomarker data and may not capture all clinical nuance.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Look Health is not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from your use of the service.

9. Limitation of Liability

Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid (if any) for access during the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Look Health, its affiliates, and partners harmless from any claims or damages resulting from your misuse of the service or violation of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect new features or legal requirements. Material changes will be communicated through email or in-app notices. Continued use after changes go into effect constitutes acceptance.
